Next week, Ross faces a life-altering moment as he finally learns the truth about Charity's baby. Will he expose Charity's deception, potentially causing a rift between Mackenzie Boyd, Sarah Sugden, and Jacob Gallagher?
Charity has been living a lie since the New Year, when her husband Mack discovered that the baby she's carrying might not be Sarah and Jacob's. In a twist, Mack assumes he's the father, but a DNA test has already revealed that Ross is the biological dad.
As the story unfolds, Mack, unaware of Charity's deception, consults with her about a secret paternity test. Ross, who has become Mack's confidant, finds out about this and tries to caution him, but to no avail.
"Mack doesn't heed Ross's advice," our source reveals. "After the paternity test, he's overjoyed as Charity suggests they raise the child together if it's theirs. Mack has always dreamed of having a child with Charity, and he's getting caught up in that dream again. He even starts planning how to convince Sarah and Jacob, and is earning extra money for a potential second surrogacy."
As the anticipation builds, Ross becomes increasingly uncomfortable in his role as Mack's confidant. Later in the week, it seems like the Barton bad boy has had enough and demands a private conversation with Charity at The Woolpack.
"Charity is shocked when Ross reveals a paternity test, confirming that the baby is his," our spy shares. "With nowhere left to hide, Charity admits that she's been lying all along and the baby is definitely Ross's."
