A dramatic finish saw Bromley snatch victory from the jaws of defeat against Fleetwood, with a last-gasp goal securing a 2-1 win for the League Two leaders.
The hosts, Fleetwood, had taken the lead in the second half through Mark Helm's close-range header, but Bromley fought back. Nicke Kabamba, a recent substitute, equalized soon after his introduction, setting the stage for an exciting finale.
And what a finale it was! With time ticking away, Damola Ajayi delivered a cross that found Jude Arthurs, who made no mistake in turning the ball home. Bromley's late heroics secured all three points and extended their impressive run to 10 wins and two draws in their last 12 games.
But here's where it gets controversial... Bromley's boss, Andy Woodman, made some bold substitutions, and one of those, Kabamba, made an immediate impact. Was this a stroke of genius or a lucky guess? And this is the part most people miss: Fleetwood also had their chances, with Grant Smith making some crucial saves to keep his team in the game.
So, who do you think was the man of the match? Was it the goal-scorer Arthurs, the creative Ajayi, or perhaps the busy Smith in goal for Fleetwood? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
